Fidium brings first all-fiber internet access to Rochester

ROCHESTER, N.H., — Nov. 14, 2025 — Fidium, recognized by CNET as the best internet provider in New Hampshire, is now available in Rochester. More than 11,000 homes and businesses can now access Fidium’s symmetrical multi-gig speeds and reliability, with service coming to an additional 7,500 locations this winter.

Expansion also includes new locations in Barrington and Farmington, where fiber first became available earlier this year. Access to fiber was celebrated in Barrington during the town’s Fall Fest, during which Fidium recognized Barrington as an official Gig Town.

Unlike cable or wireless internet technologies, Fidium delivers symmetrical upload and download speeds up to 2 Gig (2000 Mbps) over a 100 percent fiber network.
