Fidium today announced a major expansion of its 100% fiber-to-the-premise network services, introducing new 5 Gig and up to 8 Gig symmetrical speed tiers alongside next-generation WiFi 7 technology.

Fidium, recently named the Best Internet Provider in Maine by CNET and honored with more than 150 top‑performance rankings statewide from Ookla®, has expanded its all‑fiber internet service in Kennebunkport and Kennebunk, bringing new fiber‑to‑the‑home (FTTH) access to more than 5,000 residents and businesses.

Fidium has expanded its multi-gig speed network to St. Johnsbury, Vt., bringing new all-fiber internet access to more than 4,000 homes and businesses. 

Fidium today announced the closing of its second fiber securitization transaction consisting of asset-backed term notes totaling approximately $1.283 billion, secured by all existing and future fiber-enabled customers across certain states and the fiber optic and network infrastructure to support these customers. The Transaction follows the successful May 2025 issuance of $1.344 billion of asset-backed term notes.
