Fidium, Maine's best internet provider, has expanded its multi-gig, symmetrical speed internet service to Westbrook and parts of Gorham, bringing its future-proof fiber network to more than 7,700 homes and businesses.

Fidium, has expanded its multi-gig, symmetrical speed internet service to the Belfast-area. Construction began in November and thousands of residents now have access to Fidium's future-proof connectivity. Once network upgrades are finalized later this spring, more than 5,700 homes and businesses in Belfast and parts of Northport and Swanville will have access to the best internet in Maine, thanks to Fidium.

Fidium is expanding its all-fiber internet network in Fort Fairfield, bringing symmetrical, multi-gig speed internet to more than 2,200 homes and businesses. Fiber infrastructure construction is scheduled to begin as soon as March 3, with exact start dates varying by location.

Fidium Fiber, one of the two companies contracted by New Hampshire several years ago to expand high-speed broadband across the state, is closing gaps in Coos County after completing much work in 2024 in northern Grafton County.
