"We cut the cord a few years ago to just stream TV," said Kandi-Lee Hoy, a Fidium customer in South Portland. "Since Fidium showed up, our service has been great. We stream a lot of entertainment, YouTube, streaming TV, streaming hockey games, it all works very well without glitches or outages."

Unlike cable or DSL internet technologies, Fidium delivers symmetrical upload and download speeds up to 2 Gig (2000 Mbps) over a 100 percent fiber network.

Recently, the company announced the unification of its residential, business, and wholesale services under the Fidium name.
