Fidium Fiber is expanding its all-fiber internet network in Ossipee, Center Ossipee, Freedom and Effingham, as well as parts of Tamworth, Tuftonboro and Wolfeboro, bringing multi-gig speed service to more than 9,000 homes and businesses in the communities.

A $24M investment has brought high-speed internet to Lamoille County, which officials hope will revitalize the community.

Residents and businesses in Bingham and up U.S. Route 201 to The Forks area now have access to high-speed fiber internet service, thanks to a $3.7 million state grant and a network of public-private partnerships.

Officials gathered last Wednesday to cut the ribbon on an infrastructure project that has been some time in the making — and to celebrate the adoption of a potential new moniker for the municipality: "Gig Town."

Fidium Fiber is expanding its fiber internet offerings in Colchester. The expansion follows last year's project and coincides with a large rollout in nearby Milton. Fidium's latest construction project in the area began mid-September and will bring multi-gig service to over 5,700 homes and businesses across Milton, Colchester and Georgia upon completion.
